The Jarrettsville Federal Blog

By Gary Barnoff
The holidays are the times when “tradition” is forefront for many people.   I love hearing the stories about the long-standing family traditions of cutting down the Christmas tree, celebrating Hanukah, Christmas or Kwanza with friends and loved ones, visiting Santa Claus or making special celebration cookies.   Whatever they are, these traditions are fondly remembered and repeated each year.

At Jarrettsville Federal, we have our own traditions.   Some of them date back to 1869, when the doors opened for a bank that wanted to provide superior customer service to the local residents.  Our success was built on this tradition.  More recently, we’ve added new products and ways of doing business that we think make banking more convenient and easier for our customers.  They include the addition of internet banking, mobile banking, and a network of surcharge-free ATMs with MoneyPass.  We continue our tradition of passbook savings accounts, free checking and friendly service.  We pride ourselves on knowing our customers by name and making our decisions locally within the community.  This past year, we created some wonderful memories with our customers at events like the Ladew Summer Concert Series, Romancing the Chrome and the Library Summer Reading Program.   The success of these events will keep us involved in the future.

Our most heartfelt tradition is wishing our customers a happy and healthy holiday season.  We thank you for banking with us, and we strive to make your banking experience a pleasure.  Customer service and responsiveness always has been and always will be our number one priority.  We look forward to building traditions with you.

Warm wishes,
