Romancing The Chrome 10th Annual Car Show

The team at Jarrettsville Federal enjoyed a brisk Saturday morning at the 10th Annual Romancing the Chrome Jarrettsville Car Show on April 23rd.  Nearly 150 classic cars and hot rods were registered for all to enjoy as well as a band, food vendors, beer garden, 50/50, raffles and an array of vendor sponsors.

Jarrettsville Federal was once again proud to be the Headlining sponsor of this wonderful event put on by the Jarrettsville Lions Club and Bel Air Corvette Club, both of whom give back to the community and to those in need.

We provided goodie bags to be given to the car registrants filled with items from several of the sponsors and had a large assortment of awesome give-a-ways at our table.  To add to the excitement of the day President Gary Barnoff shot off about 50 JFSL tee shirts into the crowd using a tee-shirt launching gun.  Thankfully, no injuries were reported. LOL

Another addition this year was the Frito Lay company that joined us at the show with one of their natural compressed gas-powered semi-trucks.  They allowed people to sit in the driver’s seat and experience the ‘no zone’ or ‘blind spot’ that the truckers experience that often isn’t recognized by the typical driver.  Young and old alike enjoyed seeing and hearing about the semi.  Also present was Chester Cheetah himself who handed out snack of all kinds all day.

Thanks to all who attended to help support this worthwhile event and have a little fun while doing so!
