Celebrating 150 years
1869-2019

Jarrettsville Federal Savings and Loan put down roots in the community in 1869 as a strong, stable financial institution.  Over the years, we have developed relationships that span generations.    Our 150-year tradition of community banking helped us to grow.

Today, we continue to thrive, with checking, savings and loan products that meet our customers’ needs, technology that brings us into the future, and community service that gives back to our customers.

We don’t just say we’re the best in community banking.  We prove it.  Jarrettsville Federal Savings and Loan ranked in the top 17 percent of banks nationwide for outstanding community involvement, as determined by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.  The designation is part of the Community Reinvestment Act of 1977 (CRA).   Rankings are based on the assessment of loans for building within the community, participation and support of community services, and loan investment or service in the bank’s region.

We are involved where our customers live and work, supporting local community organizations as much as we are able, including schools, libraries, emergency services and many local charities.  Our team members sit on several community boards and participate in numerous community fundraisers every year.
